'CHALLENGERS'

Rated R for language throughout, some sexual content and graphic nudity.

What it’s about: A love triangle set in the world of professional tennis.

The kid attractor factor: This is an adult drama, not much appeal for kids.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Relationships are complex, messy and require compromise.

Violence: Just violence against tennis rackets.

Language: Swearing throughout.

Sex: References to sex, sexual scenarios, infidelity and full-frontal male nudity.

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: This is too mature for kids, but fine for teens.

The kid attractor factor: More of a family drama but might be some appeal for kids who are fans of the music.

Good lessons/bad lessons: Never give up on your dreams, or your kids' dreams.

Violence: None

Language: None

Sex: None

Drugs: None

Parents’ advisory: This is fine for kids even though it deals with heavy family themes and challenges at times.
